Say 👋 hello to BusyBee, your AI-powered learning & teaching companion for Buzz. Learn more!
In the interest of student safety, BusyBee's automated monitoring conducts continuous, real-time scanning of student conversations in BusyBee Chats and Get Help conversations to ensure that content deemed inappropriate is promptly detected and flagged for review for teachers and administrators.
If inappropriate content related to self-harm, sexual content, or illicit activities is identified, all users enrolled as teachers in a course automatically receive monitoring emails. Administrators can add other recipients (administrators, principals, counselors, etc) to these emails as long as they have a verified email in Buzz.
Email notifications include:
- Student name and ID
- Course title and ID
- Activity title and ID
- The reason for the block
- Up to the last five messages of the Chat
To add recipients:
- In the Admin app, open Domain settings.
- In BusyBee chats, click Add.
- In the User to be notified field, enter the user's name.
- Click Add.
