Authors can create Project for learners to complete and include Review criteria to guide them and promote quality, actionable feedback!
Create Projects
- Provide a Title.
- Enter the Master award and Expected duration values.
- Use toggles to configure:
- Whether to Prompt learner to enter actual time spent when they submit the project.
- Whether to Skip thumbnail choice for attachment uploads (if disabled, learners can select the thumbnail).
- Whether you want to Require coach review to receive master award.
- Whether you want to Disable gallery for a project or set it to Share to the gallery by default. If you don't share be default, learners can choose to share their work in a Gallery for peers and coaches to see.
- Choose a Submission type (Attachments and comments or Attachments only).
- Provide Project instructions. Click Help to learn how to create styles. Use the Preview toggle to see how your description will appear to learners.
- Save or scroll down to add Review criteria
Add Review criteria
Including good Review criteria helps learners understand the expectations and helps reviewers provide good, standardized reviews.
Under Review criteria:
- Click Add criterion.
Click View criteria guidelines and examples for tips!
- Give the criterion a Title and a Description.
- Provide the Weight you want each criterion to have in the overall review score. If you want all criteria to have equal weight, enter the same number for each.
- Click Add criterion to create more.
- Save.
Learners use criteria when submitting projects
Learners are shown the Review criteria when they are completing the project, so they can be successful.
Coaches and peers use Review criteria to give feedback
When Coaches and peers review a project, the Review criteria are listed with checkboxes. A checked box means the criterion was met, and impacts the Total star review. Reviewers are also able to provide Constructive comments.
