Administrators can enroll learners in a Catalog entry in a few places:
- The Catalog allows you to Enroll others (in bulk) in a Catalog entry.
- The Learners > Learner enrollments screen allows you to enroll a single learner in one or more entries.
- The Catalog > Catalog entry enrollments screen allows you to bulk enroll learners in one entry.
- The Organizations > Organization details screen allows you to bulk enroll learners in one or more entries and automatically add the learners to your Organization.
Enable self-enrollment for learners
Administrators and authors can configure Catalog entries to allow learners to self enroll from their Catalog screen.
Enroll others from the Catalog
Dawn administrators can Enroll others directly from the Catalog:
- With Browse catalog, find the desired catalog entry.
- Click the catalog entry.
- On the catalog entry preview screen, click Enroll others.
Note: If a Catalog entry is available in multiple languages, you are asked to select the Language when enrolling learners. Learners can always change their language after enrollment to any of the other available languages.
- In Choose learners, you have different options:
- You can click Search for existing learners (learners who have already joined your site) by name or email address, and add them one at a time (shown below).
- You can click Invite new learners or import data to enroll learners who have not yet joined your site (described here).
- Verify provides the status of the learners you want to invite. You'll get notifications if learners are ready to be enrolled, if they're already enrolled, if they haven't completed the prerequisites, etc.
- If you want to add the learners to an Organization, you can search and select that here (this is not relevant for most Dawn users).

Grouping allows you to:
- Add to a new group (that you create)
- Add to an existing group (and choose the group from the Existing group dropdown)
- You can pay for enrollments with a credit card, or with Purchase orders if you are an administrator for an Organization.
- If you want, you can include an Enrollment expiration date (this can be edited later). Learners lose access to content past the expiration date; however, they keep access to all completion certificates they earn.
- Click Add enrollments.
Learners are sent an email welcoming them with a link to get started.
Invitations are valid for one week
To maintain security, invitation links are valid only for one week. If a link expires, you can resend the invitation.
