"Learner journey" sections let learners choose their path
Authors can now mark a section as a Learner journey, allowing learners to choose which learning activities to complete and how they demonstrate mastery.
Within a journey section, authors add instruction as usual and then designate some items as Assessments. Learners complete at least one learning activity and one assessment to finish the journey and learner mastery is determined by their performance on the highest scored assessment.
Easily make instructions an Assessment by dragging it to the Assessments section after you create it.
For learners, the journey appears as a single entry in the table of contents that opens to a section home page where they can choose their path through the available activities.
Learner journeys give authors greater flexibility to design courses that support different learning paths while maintaining clear mastery tracking. Learners can engage with the activities that best fit their needs while still completing required assessments to demonstrate understanding.
