Buzz Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform, version 3.0.536 available on September 17, 2026.
BusyBee updates
In this release, we also made the following BusyBee updates:
- Fixed an issue where BusyBee Question Assistant generated overall feedback for a question but didn't populated the Feedback field.
- Moved BusyBee monitoring to a new Email notifications section in Domain settings.
- Updated the Email notifications > BusyBee monitoring card in Domain Settings to be displayed when Get Help is enabled.
Buzz updates
In this release, we:
- Added the ability for administrators to opt in to email notifications when a student's accommodations change.
- Changed default setting in the Clever SIS sync editor > Create a base course for each teacher option to "off."
- Increased the Inbox limit from 100 to 500 courses with messages, allowing users to view conversations across more enrollments. Buzz now also displays a clear warning when the limit has been reached.
- Added a message that appears in the Clever SIS Sync setup screen when an admin tries to configure Clever for a domain where Clever is not allowed.
- Improved Buzz performance when using multiple tabs at once.
- Made general accessibility improvements.
- Made internal performance improvements.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we also:
- Fixed an issue where having Buzz open in multiple browser tabs could log a user out unexpectedly, even while they were actively working in another tab.
- Fixed an issue where defining a Clever configuration in Domain customizations could overwrite other existing Domain customizations.
- Fixed an issue in the Editor > Activity list screen where Bulk editing group-specific activity settings would fail.

Dawn updates
In this release, we:
- Fixed several issues with group coaches:
- Removing a coach left them assigned to the groups they coached.
- Clearing a coach from a group's list could have no effect.
- An organization administrator could not see or safely save their own organization's groups.
- A group's last coach could not be removed.
- Fixed an issue where adding learners to a group under an organization could list learners belonging to other organizations.
- Fixed an issue where a comment on coach feedback could disappear after the page was refreshed.
- Fixed an issue where replying in a coaching conversation could be reported to coaches as a new request for help.
- Fixed an issue where re-sending an invite to a learner or for an enrollment gave no confirmation that it had been sent, and reported nothing when it failed.
- Made general security improvements.
