When a teacher or Buzz grading policy sets a score for an activity, Buzz will protect that score from being automatically overwritten by an external LTI tool. If the tool later sends a new score, teachers will see a clear indicator that an external score is available to review, while their original score remains in place.

Admins can access other domains quickly and securely
In this release, we have introduced a new Open domain feature for administrators.
Available from their User menu in the Admin app, Open domain enables administrators to open a different Buzz domain and see its customizations without entering credentials through that domain. The other domain opens in a new browser tab, so users aren’t navigated away from where they’re working.
Previously, this required entering credentials into domains they did not control, creating unnecessary friction and potential security concerns. Open domain introduces a secure and efficient way to access a domain other than your own.

Buzz updates
In this release, we:
- Improved grading for Matching questions to account for the possible presence of non-printing characters, like a zero-width space, in answer orders.
- Improved security by enforcing
SameSitecookie restrictions for authentication. - Improved BusyBee’s Grading Assistant to better detect when image submissions are too unclear to interpret reliably and adjusts scoring accordingly.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we also fixed an issue where the Activity editor did not make Content template's input fields read-only when the activity is linked to an activity in another course.
