What's new

Grading Assistant can now analyze and evaluate submissions that include:

  • Fillable PDFs
  • PDFs containing images or diagrams
  • Microsoft Word (.DOCX) files (text content only)
  • JPEG (.JPG) images
  • PNG images
  • GIF files (static images only)
  • WEBP images

This means students can submit work in more formats that match real classroom activities, and teachers still benefit from AI predictive grading support.

What this enables

With Vision, Grading Assistant can now support activities such as:

  • Handwritten or annotated assignments
  • Graphs and charts
  • Image-based responses
  • Fillable PDF forms

What to expect

  • Grading Assistant Vision evaluates visible text and visual content within supported files.
  • Feedback and scoring continue to align with your assignment instructions and rubric.
  • Teachers continue to receive and review all predictive scoring before sending them to students.

Vision expands what’s possible with BusyBee predictive grading, making it easier to assess the kinds of work students already create every day.

More formats. More flexibility. Same BusyBee simplicity.
