Buzz Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform, available on February 6, 2026.
Buzz version: 3.0.498 (no update from 2/5 release)
API version: 2026.2.6.3299
Buzz updates
As of this release, accounts that are inactive for one year will be automatically locked.
To regain access, users can reset their password using forgot password, or an administrator can unlock the account on their behalf.
This change reduces risks associated with long-inactive accounts and keeps the recovery process straightforward. Active users will not be affected; no action is required unless an account has been inactive for an extended period.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we fixed an issue in Publish Anywhere that could cause BusyBee Chat activities not to load.
Scheduled security maintenance - 2/17/2026
On February 17, we will release a security enhancement aligned with industry best practices to further protect browser-based access to the platform.
This update enables an industry-standard, server-controlled, browser-enforced security mechanism (CORS) that helps prevent unauthorized websites from making requests to the Agilix Buzz APIs on behalf of users. While CORS is especially relevant for systems that, unlike Buzz, rely on cookie-based authentication, it also provides additional protections that are widely considered a best practice across the industry.
We expect the change to be seamless for most customers. We have analyzed real-world usage, evaluated how modern browsers enforce these rules, and preserved existing, supported patterns that could otherwise be affected. If an issue does occur, it may appear as a browser-blocked API request, most commonly on pages hosted on custom domains (domains other than .agilixbuzz.com).
This change applies only to browser-based activity. Non-browser integrations--including server-to-server connections, mobile apps, and other direct integrations--are not affected.
These updates have been thoroughly reviewed and validated, with monitoring safeguards in place. While we do not anticipate disruptions, if you notice unexpected behavior after the release, please contact us so our team can review and resolve it quickly.
