A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform, version 3.0.492 available on December 18, 2025.

Improved responsiveness and instructional quality in BusyBee

BusyBee has received a meaningful foundational upgrade, delivering faster responses and improved accuracy across a wide range of subjects. Educators and students will notice quicker interactions, clearer explanations, stronger mathematical reasoning, and better instructional alignment throughout the experience.

Faster, more natural interactions - BusyBee responds more quickly and with a more natural instructional voice, reducing wait time and making conversations feel smoother and more engaging for students.

Stronger prompt fidelity - BusyBee now follows prompts more precisely, producing more consistent and predictable responses aligned to the intent of the activity.

Improved math and step-by-step guidance - BusyBee shows stronger performance on multi-step tasks, providing clearer intermediate steps and more reliable mathematical reasoning to support student understanding.

Stronger contextual understanding - BusyBee demonstrates improved awareness of course content, resulting in responses that are more accurate, better aligned, and grounded in the material students are working with.

More responsible, instructional support - BusyBee continues to avoid giving answers outright. With this upgrade, it offers improved scaffolding, asking better guiding questions, encouraging critical thinking, and supporting students as they work toward their own solutions.

Initial reactions from BusyBee users highlight instructional improvements

"Noticeably more instructional and context-aware, with smarter questioning, stronger synthesis of course content, and seamless support for activities."

"It has a more natural voice and the facts are more on the spot."

"Responses feel more intentionalโ€”both in how questions are asked and how understanding is checked."
