Buzz Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform, version 3.0.491 available on December 11, 2025. (Updated: 12/12)
Buzz updates
In this release, we made performance improvements that help Buzz load faster and feel more responsive.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we also:
- Fixed an issue where, if a user filtered the Gradebook by student name and then cleared the value from the Filter field, all students listed on the page would disappear until refresh. [Released: 12/12]
- Fixed an issue in the Gradebook where grade values would not be displayed if Pace was selected as a Visible column. [Released: 12/12]
- Fixed an issue in the Activity grader > Analytics > Question section where users were unable to expand questions to see their detailed analytics. [Released: 12/12]
- Fixed an issue where the BusyBee icon wasn't appearing in Chat activities played in Publish Anywhere.
- Updated the Gradebook > Minutes footer to correctly show the total number of minutes spent by students in the course.
- Fixed an issue in the Assessment activity editor > Questions tab where a selected question's Attach to passage field would sometimes show an incorrect value for the attached passage.
- Fixed an issue where pasting an image from an external source into the rich text editor would result in the image being inserted twice.
- Fixed an issue triggered by making a change involving the following Course settings > Advanced options: Automatically assign the minimum activity score to past-due activities and Automatically mark past-due activities as missing. If both settings were enabled and Automatically mark past-due activities as missing was later disabled, Buzz would treat Mark activities complete when minimum score is auto-assigned as enabled, even when it was not.

Dawn updates
In this release, we made the following updates to Dawn's new UI (released for preview use 12/5):
- Fixed an issue where authors could not upload images to rich text editors.
- Fixed an issue where video overlays incorrectly required text.
- Fixed an issue where refresh/load on Safari was not working.
- Added the Agilix admin proxy feature.
- Improved performance for catalog search page queries.
