Buzz Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform version 3.0.475, available on September 18, 2025.
Restored admin workflows for adding new elements
In response to user feedback, we have returned the New/Add/Grant buttons in admin screens to the toolbar for simplified workflows.
In a recent update, these buttons were moved into an Actions menu. With this release, the original workflows have been restored.
Buzz updates
In this release, we:
- Made responsive web design improvements to multiple screens for accessibility, following best practices to adjust or relocate sections of content to fit within smaller viewports.
- Made general accessibility improvements.
- In the Import Users and Import Courses screens we now validate that imported metadata field values are valid. This includes validating whether imported field values match the parameters (choice values and minimum/maximum numeric values) defined for the selected Input type.
- Made the Domain details cards wider to accommodate long userspace names.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we also:
- Fixed an issue in Import Users and Import Courses where imported numeric and boolean metadata field values were imported as text instead of numbers and booleans, respectively.
- Fixed an issue where the Send mail button wasn't appearing in Announcements when Enable email was set in Domain > Features and Inbox was disabled.
- Fixed an issue where the Microsoft Edge browser was not prompting to auto-fill the username or password fields on Buzz’s login page.
- Fixed an issue where the SIS sync Grade passback could fail when using some Student Information Systems (SIS).
