Buzz updates

In this release, we:

  • Added support for the Buzz Media Recording Add-on to courses delivered by Publish Anywhere. Formerly, it was available only in Buzz-delivered courses.
  • Updated the SIS Sync to allow for an enrollment’s completion status to remain as “Completed.” When an enrollment is marked as “Completed” or “CompletedNoCredit,” the SIS Sync will not attempt to revert the enrollment’s status back to “Active” or another inactive status.

Buzz fixes

In this release, we also:

  • Fixed an issue where the Buzz Media Recording Add-on increased recording limits were not being honored in assessment-template essay questions.
  • Fixed an issue where the un-read Announcements count in the top toolbar was incorrectly counting unread announcements from past course enrollments.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed enrollments from being moved out of deactivated courses.

Buzz APIs

Updates in version 2025.7.30.3037.

Additions, Removal, or Changes:

  • LTI Links: Updated Buzz to respond with a single JSON object instead of an array when fetching a single line item via Assignment & Grade services.
  • Paginating lists by entity ID: Users can now list entities and iterate through additional entities by appending the last entity ID to the next query. For example, if your query has a limit of 100 entities returned at a time, use the last entity ID returned to append it as a query ID to the subsequent query. If the last entity ID was 54321, then you can use query=/id>54321 to return the next set of entities.

This works for the following APIs: ListDomainEnrollments, ListDomains, ListEnrollments, ListObjectiveSets.

Fixes:

  • None
