Your Dawn site uses a new technology called Progressive Web Applications (PWA). PWAs provide all the benefits of a native app without the hassle of an app store.
All you have to do is point your browser to the website and save it to your home screen, and you can access your site from an icon on your phone, receive notifications, and store application data just like you would with a native app.
Set up for iPhone
- On your mobile device, open your Dawn website with the Safari browser.
- Click the Action button.
- Select Add to Home Screen.
- Click Add to confirm, and your site's icon appears on your home screen as with any other app.
Set up for Android
- On your mobile device, open your Dawn website with the Chrome browser.
- Look for the prompt to appear from Chrome asking if you want to add the site to your home screen. Select this action.
- Once completed, your site's icon appears on your home screen as with any other app.
