Feeds are shared spaces where you and others post and respond to messages in Dawn. Access your conversations from the View feed icon in the toolbar.
Use My coach feed to communicate with coaches directly
When you open View feed, you will see:
- My feed if you are in your Dashboard or other screens related to your general Dawn account. My feed shows your posts and posts from any Catalog entry or Group that you follow.
- Catalog entry feed if you are in a catalog entry when you open it.
In My feed:
- Click Turn on notifications to allow push notifications from Dawn. This only appears if your browser allows it.
- Click Jump to... to navigate to a different feed.
- In each Feed, you are able to create a New post or edit or delete your own past posts. Clicking Post as private message makes the post visible to coaches and administrators only.
- When you click Jump to..., you can select another feed to view.
- Click Follow on a feed if you want its posts to automatically appear in My feed.
- Click the vertical dot menu below an existing post to add a comment or follow the thread.
- When a post is a Project from another learner, you can click Submit a review to leave a review.
Push notifications
Enabling Turn on notifications, allows your browser to push notifications pertaining to any feeds you are following in Dawn through your operating system, so they surface anywhere you are on your device.
Note: If you are using iOS Safari on a mobile device, you have to add your Dawn app to the homescreen. iOS throttles some push notifications, so you may not see all push notifications.
