Buzz Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform, version 3.0.525 available on July 23, 2026.
Buzz updates
In this release, we:
- Updated several Gradebook display option labels to use consistent sentence-case capitalization.
- Added a code view button to the Activity theme header and footer HTML editor, making it easier for course authors to view and correct the underlying HTML.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we also:
- Fixed an issue where sending an email with "Send a copy to me" enabled would hang indefinitely and never send.
- Fixed an issue where the “keep formatting or clean up” pop-up appeared behind the dialog when pasting Word content into the rich text editor (e.g., Create Template, Send Mail), making it inaccessible.
- Fixed missing toolbar tooltips in the rich text editor.
- Fixed an issue in the rich text editor where the image-editing toolbar could appear at the top of the editor when opened for an image farther down in the content.
Buzz APIs
Updates in version 2026.7.22.3634.
Additions, Removals, or Changes:
- Updated
GetRecentPosts,GetMessageList,GetDomainContent,GetAnnouncementInfo,GetUserNote,ListUserNotes,SearchUserNotes, andGetUserNoteCountsto allow administrators with proper authorization to access this data for a specified user rather than only working with the logged-in user. This will allow customers to stop using Proxy in integrations that need this data.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where password policy enforcement was skipped at login if only one enforcement level was set to
BlockOnUseand no other levels were configured.

Dawn Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Dawn platform version 2026.0723.092238, available on July 23, 2026.
Dawn updates
In this release, we:
- Added learner submission histories, so coach reviews retain their original context. Learners can view previous submissions with coach feedback and copy a prior submission to revise it instead of starting over, and coaches can see a learner's full submission and feedback history in the progress report.
- Added a new Reviewed tab to the coach Submissions page, listing everything the coach has already reviewed, with the ability to edit past reviews in place for every submission type.
- Updated coaching tools to require coaches to provide feedback to the learner when submitting a review.
- Updated coach reviews for private submissions (projects not shared to the gallery, short answers, questionnaires, and xAPI submissions) now default to post as private automatically. Discussion reviews still default to public but can be marked private.
- Expanded Organization administrator permissions to allow them to create coaches and assign to groups.
- Gave Root admins the ability to batch assign enrollments to organizations.
- Updated the Continue button to appear only after learners submit a response in Project, Short Response, Multiple Response, Likert, and Choice interactions.
- Updated the Submissions to review page to filter the activity progress view to only the interactions that are awaiting review, instead of showing the entire activity.
- Updated the Submit a review side panel to stay anchored to the top of the viewport while scrolling.
- Updated the Submit a review side panel so that clicking outside the panel no longer closes it or discards in-progress edits.
- Fixed an issue in the batch invite user and batch enroll wizards where the first line of pasted or uploaded data could be incorrectly skipped as a header row.
