You can allow partial credit be assigned to auto-graded questions in Assessments and Practice question activities.
To enable partial credit, select the question in the activity editor's Question tab and check the Partial box on the Score card.
Check the Round box if you want Buzz to automatically round the partial credit to whole numbers.
Question types that automatically assign partial credit
When you enable partial credit for the following question types, Buzz automatically identifies any answers the student got correct and gives them partial credit for them:
- Multiple answer: Students get credit for the answers that were correctly answered even if they didn't get all of the answers correct.
- Matching: Students get credit for the matches they got correct even if they didn't get all of the matches correct.
- Ordering: Students get credit for answers that are in the correct position even if all of the answers are not correctly ordered.
Question types that allow you to set partial credit values
When you enable partial credit for the following question types, Buzz allows you to assign partial credit values for each answer option:
- Multiple choice: You can assign each answer option the number of points you want the student to receive if they choose it.
- Fill in the blank: You are allowed to provide multiple answers that are accepted for the blank, and you can assign each accepted answer the number of points you want the student to receive if they enter it.
