I changed one of our matching assignments to make it drag and drop. I love the new feature, but ran into a potential issue.
We are having student match compound inequalities with their graphs. The issue is that the drag and drop format shrinks the size of the images. That makes it more difficult to see the numbers on the number lines. I tried to change the image size in the editor, but it was ignored. I have a screenshot of the same question as a regular matching vs drag and drop so you can see the difference.
*I see that your discussion board still isn't showing editing tools in initial posts. I'll have to add the image in a reply.
Here is the screenshot. You can see how the images are much smaller in the drag and drop version. Of course, the legibility of the images is also going to be dependent upon screen size and resolution. The other alternative would be to put the graphs as the questions and the inequalities as the drag and drop choices. However, as far as I know, matching answer choices must be plain text so math expressions wouldn't be possible.
Hey Bruce, as of now, the choices are displayed at the set width of 250px wide for drag-and-drop. However, you can use HTML (including math expressions) for the choices. See below.

This is awesome news.
I just realized the implications for 2-column proofs in geometry.
We used to have to do this because we couldn't have math in the answer choices:
Now, we can drag and drop the answers in the blanks so it look "normal."
This is a real game-changer in sooooooo many ways. Huge thanks to everyone at Agilix who worked on bringing this to us all!
Happy you guys like it! With last week's changes and the upcoming enhancements (😉 ) to assessments, we hope that everyone is equally excited.
