We have been made aware that a lot of equations used in our math courses are not rendering correctly. Specifically math equations with minus symbols. The minus symbols don't show up.
For example: `(-m)^{ - 3}n` is what it shows in the code view of the question.
This is what it looks like in the student view of the question:

There should be a - in front of that 3 but it's not showing up.
If I right click on the equation to bring up the math settings and change the math renderer to HTML-CSS then everything looks great and nothing is missing.
Is there a way to change the default renderer or is there something we need to do to make the equations render correctly?
Thanks

Hello:
There was an issue that was recently fixed in the latest Chrome update that addressed the scenario where some math symbols would not display correctly based on their browser's zoom setting. It only was encountered using the Chrome browser.
Is this occuring in Firefox? I'm assuming this was reported to have occurred in Chrome; what version if that is the case?
I does not appear to be doing that in Firefox. The Chrome version is Version 87.0.4280.141. I did update my browser to check if the update fixed the issue and it looks like it has. I will let our teachers know.
Thanks for you help!
Their fix was included as part of version 88 in Chrome. Currently the latest released version of Chrome is 88.0.4324.104 on a desktop machine.
