I'm the admin account user for our system. I have a student account created and enrolled; I can proxy as that student however I'm unable to login to verify the username/password is working correctly.
I performed a user - import/edit task, to edit the password as it was telling me it was incorrect (username/password). Since I can see the username in the user settings, I figured it was the password. The import/edit would tell me "verify" and "done" but it wasn't actually changing in the system because I still couldn't login.
Now the account is locked. There is no option within the admin app to change a password or unlock an account. I'm at a lose.
Bonnie
Updating passwords for users through a CSV import can only occur upon the user creation, not edits after the user creation.
An admin can edit a user's password in the admin app through the user Details page / More button. See screenshot below. Additionally in this menu an account lockout may be reset.
