In the past you could go to the people section and generate an invite code for students to self enroll. I am not seeing that anymore, did it get moved somewhere else or just deleted? Please help
There are two possible causes for this. (1) The user needs to drill into the specific course and then view the people tool to see the invite student option. It is not present when viewing the people tool across all courses they are enrolled in. (2) The teacher's enrollment is missing the course "owner" permission and domain read user permission, By providing them the course owner role and the domain read user permission they would be able to see the option in this case. The process involved requires a teacher to see users in the domain because they are inviting user accounts to enroll in a course. The course owner and the domain read user permission is required for the invite student option to be present in the People Tool to a teacher.
