In Gradebook and Submission of the Settings for an Assignment, the option on the pull down menu for a "document" template" is not there. I want students to edit a Google Slide presentation as their own. Is there another way to do this?

Thank you for reaching out Alison:

Are you describing the steps in the document How do I create a Google Document Dropbox Template? If so, your organization will need to obtain a G Suite account.

Hello Brian Williams,

We have received reports from customers that the steps in above referenced 2018 How do I create a Google Document Dropbox Template? are no longer applicable.

I have confirmed this experience in one of our SchoolsPLP test systems with G Suite service account enabled. Specifically, Document template is NOT an available choice in the Settings tab.

These are the current Submission type choices:

Additionally, are there any specific instructions for using Buzz WITH Google Classroom?

Thank you in advance for your valuable time and response~

Trish Corcoran I am currently seeing the document template option in my testing with G Suite enabled on my domain. Without being able to directly investigate your use case I suspect there may be an issue with how G Suite is configured for your instance or the domain that the user is authenticated into doesn't have G Suite enabled.
