We would like to embed activities in Buzz that need to be completed by the student and then submitted. We have been trying this with a few crossword puzzles. We build the crossword in a crossword generator, get the embed code and use the embed code option to get them into Buzz. We then make it an gradable assignment. The crossword shows up in the assignment box in Buzz, but when the students complete the crossword and submits it, it shows up in the gradebook as an uncompleted crossword. We tried to use some of the setting in Buzz to get the completed crossword to appear in the gradebook. We would like to use that as much as possible as many of our students have a hard time capturing screens and attaching them in Buzz. Thank you for your help.
It sounds like the embedded content doesn't have the ability to send data to Buzz to record the work the students performed while interacting with the content in the puzzle. The end result is a puzzle in the gradebook that looks to have not been worked on?
You may need to build the puzzles using HTML in the questions for it to properly pass the progress to Buzz.
Our students are still asking for the crosswords for learning the vocabulary in our courses. I'm wondering if there is anything new that way? I also wonder if there would be any way to integrate a third party crossword builder? I've considered removing them because the students can complete them on the screen, but have a lot of difficulty capturing them and submitting them in the submission box. Any ideas how to make this easier for them?

Hello Brian,

Thanks for all you do!
