I have students submitting photos of their written work (math assignments & artwork) as images. Instead of attaching them, they are adding them within the comments section. I do not have the ability to zoom in or rotate the images, many of which show up rotated 90 degrees count-clockwise. The angle and size make them difficult to read and grade.
I would love to see (a) images in the comments disabled so student have to upload the image as an attachment, or (b) tools added that allow me to click on images in the comments so they can be blown up and rotated.
There is the option to access the camera from within the dropbox after clicking on the "insert video" icon. This saves the steps of needing to access the camera outside of Buzz in advance to record and save, then find attach the video from in the dropbox.
However, there does not seem to be the ability to access the camera directly from the dropbox after clicking on the "insert image" icon. See the screenshots below.
Although it just saves a couple of steps, this would be a pretty significant simplification that teachers and students would be sure to appreciate. We were amazed at how many issues there were with submitting images of assignments. All the different computer types including Chromebooks complicate the process because there are always variations. Enabling access to the camera from within the dropbox to submit photo images would address all those issues. Is this possible?
Marc Collins, we do not currently have a way for a student to take a picture. I would recommend adding this as a new post in Product Feedback so that it can be considered.
I can right click on an image that was submitted as an attachment. But, when the image is placed in the comments, my only option is to save it to my computer to be able to work with it, this adds more time to my grading workflow. No option to open it in a new tab.
This platform that we use for the Agilix Help Center has a limited set of labels we can apply to posts. The "Planned" label is applied to a post so that is recorded in our enhancement request catalog.

Hey Katie, you should be able to right-click on the images and have them open in a new tab or have them downloaded. Does this work for you?

Does "Planned" mean Buzz plans on creating this feature?
You saw something you weren't supposed to see. ;)
