Is there a way to set "Automatically assign zero scores to past-due activities" to TRUE for every existing and new course in the domain rather than having to remember to go into each new course section and turn this option on? A lot of teachers are either unaware that this setting needs to be changed and as a consequence student grades area artificially inflated.

Hello Susan,
While there isn't a domain setting to toggle this for courses in the domain, it is possible to use template courses. Template courses are useful to have preset course options so that new courses created via the template will have the settings automatically applied or existing courses can import the settings.
