Hello, I'm inquiring because I would like to know how one can change their password. Can the student do it themselves through a settings option? Must the parent change the child's account password?

Students can only change their passwords if enabled by an administrator. Otherwise, it would have to be changed by an admin.
If allowed, a student can change the user menu.
