Implemented feature idea or fixed bug
When using an external SIS, we have to transfer grades manually from Buzz(Gradpoint actually) to the SIS. My problem is that I have a Buzz class that uses group based assignments. So when displaying grades in the grade book or even Final Grades page, I am unable to view grades for the whole class, but have to instead use a filter so I can only see grades by group. This makes things time consuming because I cant just go down the list but have to match names before transferring the scorer.
I would like for final grades to display the student grades for the entire class and not just by groups.
Thanks for your help,
Ryan Josephson

Hey Ryan:
In the Gradebook, the student's total score reflects any personalized or group-specific scores even if the actual activity is not displayed because it is group-specific. So, you should be able to see all students by not selecting a group filter and see the respective total score for the student.
Does this meet your need or is there something else wrong?
I do see a list of all students by setting the filter to "All", however there are no visible grades next to the student names unless I filter by a group.
Could it be because there are no shared gradable assignments between groups?
So, when you are seeing "All," are there no activities listed? If so, I think you discovered a bug. I am going to document it so that our developers can address it.
That is correct, there are no assignments showing in the Gradebook as well as no course grade under final grades when all students are shown.
Thanks for the quick response on this.
In the meantime, you should be able to create a course-wide activity to overcome the bug until it is fixed.
Ryan, you should now be able to see all students in your course with the associated and personalized total scores in the Gradebook. Check out the release notes to learn more.
Hey Ryan, in today's update the Final Grades page shows the students' overall scores including personalized or group activities. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Thank you for your help.
