I am looking for way to attach my syllabus(or similar) and be able to have students and parents sign the syllabus digitally, like with their cursor.  I want something that doesn't require Adobe Reader, DocHub, etc... on the students end. Any ideas?

Hey Pat, I am not familiar with any tool that will allow you to do this with your requirements.

However, you could attempt to use an Assessment. You could create your syllabus, or at least the parts that need student/parent acknowledgement, as questions in a assessment. For example, you ask if the student and parent agree/understand a particular policy. And then they would select "yes" or "no" from a Multiple Choice question. It could even be a single option of "yes." At the bottom of the assessment, you could use a Short Answer question for the user to type their name. Many signature verification programs require just this for acknowledgement of the true recipient.

Hope this helps and you find what you need.

Thanks Brad,

After contemplating this, I am just going to have kids use DocHub to do this.  They all have school Google accounts so it should not be too painful.  Thanks for the idea though!
