Due Date in the Future

I have a teacher and myself trying to edit the due date and visibility for an activity.  It will not allow us to put in a future date.  We would like to set up weekly 'modules' and don't want to open them up until that date.  How do we do that?

You should be able to adjust the due date and restrict the visibility by date as long as:

  • The course is setup as traditional (start and end date) and not continuous.

    and

  • The desired date is within the course start and end date.

If you want to limit the visibility of an entire folder, make sure to edit the folder. Does this help, Ryan?
