Greeting all,
Yesterday I got an email from a teacher saying the current grades for students wasn't visible in the performance page. I logged into their account and notices under OPTIONS ---VISIBLE COLUMNS -- nothing was selected under the GRADES portion. I selected certain grade options, and could see grades.
They then logged back on using a different computer and even though we had selected the appropriate columns, nothing was visible. We refreshed the screen. Still nothing.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Bart

Great question, Bart. Viewing preferences are stored per user (or enrollment) per device. We do this so that a user can have different views for the type of device they may be using. For example, they want to display more columns on a desktop computer than on an iPad.
I hope this helps answer your question.
Hey Brad,
That is neat, but I think we might be doing something wrong. On his laptop, we go the OPTIONS -- VISIBLE COLUMNS -- GRADES then select the columns we want. However, it doesn't show anything, no columns with blanks or such. When I do the same on my desktop, I can in fact see his the grades.
Any idea on a setting I should look for on his laptop to make grades appear when we select the appropriate columns?
Thanks - Bart
Do you know what browser/version he was using? Sounds like there may be a bug.
