Buzz: Product Feedback

Issues with files with # in the title

I've recently gotten several reports of files with # in the name no longer being available in Buzz (one was an attachment, two were images on a homework activity).  In all instances, I was able to post a file with that symbol and resolve the issue.

BrainHoney didn't like that symbol, but then a solution was found.  It looks like Buzz is reproducing the original situation and not the solution, but it seems as if this just suddenly started happening.

Thanks for the help.

Were these files attachments or embedded resources (images)?

One was an attachment on an assignment page.

The images were embedded resources within an assessment.

Jeremy, sorry for the long wait. Our developers have identified what needs to occur with the code to handle better "#" in URLs. The best practice is not to use it, but we do anticipate on improving the behavior.

When it is developed and we are sure of the delivery, I will let you know.

Jeremy, I am not sure what has been communicated, but this should be fully fixed and available this week.
