How do I manage notifications?

You can set up Buzz to notify you when certain actions and changes occur.

You can choose to receive the following notifications:

  • You submit an activity (This is only available as part of a digest that summarizes all of the notifications you've selected.)
  • You receive a score or feedback
  • You're awarded a badge
  • A grade drops below passing
  • Your enrollment status changes

To manage notifications:

  1. Open the User Menu from the top-right corner of the toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Notifications preferences provide your Email, Mobile number, and Carrier if you want to receive emails and SMS notifications.
  1. In the Scores and feedback card, indicate which notifications you want to receive and how you want to receive them:
    • By SMS and/or Email
    • Daily and/or Weekly
  2. Save.

Hey Denise, just click your name and a list should drop. You'll see "settings" and you can go from there.

There is not an option to download within the notifications page of the user settings. The notifications when chosen are pushed out through text or email defined by the user.

Can default notification settings be set on the domain level?  Or, can these be set for users through API commands?

Unfortunately the notification settings cannot be defined at the domain level and are at the user level. It is possible to update the notifications within their user data through the API. However that will require API support if additional assistance configuring the command is needed. .
