Input Types are the kinds of fields that admins can use to gather information from other users in Buzz.
Admins can specify Input type when:

Depending on the nature of the information you want to gather, you can choose from a selection of the following Input Types:

-
Choice provides content authors with a predefined list of alphanumeric tag options in a dropdown.
- Parameters: When selecting this type, click Add Choice to create dropdown options to populate this field. Values that don't match these choices will show an error when importing data.
-
Decimal number provides content authors with a range of numbers in a dropdown that can include decimals.
- Parameters: Use the Min and Max fields to create the desired number range. Values outside this range will show an error.
-
Integer provides content authors with a range of numbers in a dropdown without decimals.

- Plain text allows content authors to enter terms and phrases that will be made searchable. Use Placeholder text to provide instructions about what users should put in this field.
- Rich text provides content authors with a rich text editor that supports text styles and images. This content is not searchable.
