I have a course using SBG. Our Agilix Buzz is embedded into our Genius SIS. The SIS pulls the current grade in Buzz and that's where our counselors check progress for students. Is there a way to keep Buzz reporting SBG type grades, but have the grade it pulls in to the SIS be different.
If I choose "Advanced Gradebook Options" and check "Include this activitie's score8 in final-grade calculation" does that mean it will still be graded in the course, but not factor into the overall score that our SIS pulls?
Is there a way to setup just ONE grade to be pulled that can be the only thing filtering into the "Calculated Grade"?
You see, many students are getting 1s and 2s this early in the semester, but still doing well on the course. They're not expected to get 3s and 4s until later in the semester. However, we don't want our counselors seeing 10-30% scores being pulled right now and putting the kids on academic probation. How can we do that?
It may be possible to do what you are asking, however you would need to reach out to Genius to have them decide if it is possible and to alter the current behavior.
Is there a way to change the "Calculated Grade" throughout the semester? For the first 9 weeks it's competely acceptable to be getting a 2 out of 4 on standards as the student should be just learning things, or finding what they don't know. But, by week 12-15, we want to see 3s and by week 18 we want 4s. We want to be able to say that a 2 = 90% in September but a 2 = 50% in January. Is there a way to change how the calculated score averages the SBG rubric scores as the semester progresses?

Good afternoon Leigh,
