I am trying to log into goreact and am getting an error, they are telling me I have to fix my user name with buzz.

Michael stepping in here for Preston while he's away. Thank you for your patience. The "lis_person_name_family" error message (and other name error messages) means that part of your name is missing from your Buzz profile settings. To fix this, you will need to log into Buzz and make sure your first/last/full name are present in your profile settings.
If you need further help making those changes, you would need to submit a ticket to your BYU Buzz Help Desk.

To clarify, does that error occur after logging into Buzz, or does it happen when interacting with a student assignment?
That error can occur if a user hides their name from an LTI service. To resolve this behavior, you need to uncheck the two boxes under the "LTI privacy" section of your Buzz user profile settings. See: How do I change my user settings? - Agilix Help Center.
