On the 4/28 release, you mention, "Resolved a hover style issue with Activity grader when horizontally scrolling over a pinned column."

I have a teacher who is having a lot of difficulty now when trying to give a retry to a student. Not sure if that is related to this update.

As her mouse moves over SAVE DRAFT, a pop-up appears blocking her access to click ALLOW RETRY. She has to move her mouse off the pop-up, wait a moment for it to go away, and then try again (which has caused her to get the pop-up again on occasion).

Good afternoon, Chad!

Thank you for reporting this! We are investigating this behavior. In the meantime, users may move their cursor outside of the tooltip bubble to select their intended button--it will close the tooltip bubble as a workaround.

Thank you. Now I am noticing it in other areas, too. Like I was trying to click on Edit, but got "blocked" by people.

Will the change help with this location as well?

Grrr, this is frustrating me so much this week. Since May, I have had issues every now and again, but I didn't say anything.

This week, though, I am trying to renumber my lessons. I click save on one to get back to the editor and the list of lessons. When I go to the next item, over 80% of the time, I go to click on the pencil icon to have nothing happen, and then a second later, I see an "Edit" hover box.

Why were these added again? If you aren't willing to remove them globally, will you at least put in a setting that allows individual users to remove them locally?

I would likely be done by now if I didn't have to keep moving my mouse away and then refocusing on the needed icon.

Hey Chad T. Lower, I'm sorry for this frustration.

As you noted, this change happened a few months ago. It was introduced with an upgrade by one of our vendors to address an accessibility issue. However, we completely agree the annoyance and problems this has caused. We are actively seeking solutions to address this issue.

Another update, Chad T. Lower. In next week's update (July 14, 2022) we will be changing the behavior so that these popups do not disrupt your workflow. Essentially, it will behave very similar to how it was before the May update.
