Saving Tests in Buzz

Good morning, We have a new student mid-semester, who was home schooled before. We are trying to get a sense of where they are at in math, so we had them take a couple of the module assessments to get some baseline data (not for grading purposes). The student didn't do very well, so we know we need to start them at the beginning. Our issue is that we don't want to officially grade the tests, because that will lower their grades quite a bit. This was just for our reference. However, we want to keep the tests as a reference point. Other than physically printing the test, is there a way to keep a copy of the test and still have them take it again when they get to that point in the curriculum? I hope that makes sense...

If you want these activities to not count to the final score just for this one student, then I would recommend excusing the activity from the student after they completed the assessments. Alternatively, you could place them in a group and then alter the activities for that group to not count the activities toward their total grade (final-grade calculation).

Here is an article that could also help you better support enrollments that join a class late. Help late-enrolled students get oriented
