Resources Tab -- not importing?

Hey all, I posted about this last week, but again, I am having trouble uploading my .mp4 into the resources tab of my class when I used to be able to do this easily. So is something different that I need to do? Do I need to compress the video file or something? It is odd, but I like to post the presentation recordings for the student's reference.

Thank you for reaching out to us, Sam!

May I please be provided with reproduction steps in order for me to encounter this behavior and further investigate?

Thank you!

I am simply trying to upload a .mp4 file that is 332.2 MB into my Resources at the Productional level so that I can drag that file to a hidden folder.  I then go and grab the source code to throw into an HTML template I have for recorded Zoom sessions.

Keeps thinking for a while (which is normal) but replies with "Unable to load resource" or something like that

Thank you for those helpful details!

Can I please get the full error message (a screenshot with any menu on it expanded so that I may see all the error message text/details)? That will allow me to narrow down this behavior.

Thank you!

I have tried several different versions of it, I got one to finally upload after several attempts (not sure why it all the sudden worked....

I want to get this one uploaded tho.

After selecting the correct file and clicking upload it thinks for a while....

So apparently it is my internet connection perhaps?

Hi Sam,

Thank you for the response. The error you are seeing does not have to do with a capacity limit. The course resources limit is 400 MB, which has not been hit. This type of error can occur based on internet connections, along with some of the other reasons listed in the error message. If you experience issues like this in the future, I recommend trying the upload again, using a different internet connection, or using a different device.

Hopefully this helps. Let me know if there are any additional questions. Thanks!

While I see that you guys replied, and I understand it may be my network connection, my question comes to this...

Why would it intermittently upload something?

Also, how come last school year I never experienced an inability to import files to my resources?  This only started happening in August?

Following up, it seemed to work at 6:30am this morning.  Do you think it may have something to do with the amount of traffic you are getting during working/school hours?

Or I suppose it could have something to do with my internet having more freedom during that hour as well. hehe
