On the Course Details page there is a checkbox called "Public" what does this mean? Does this make the course searchable so that it appears to others outside the domain?
The "Public" setting is for use in course templates. If the "Public" box is checked, any teacher in the domain could use it as a course template rather than granting individual users permissions within the course.
This setting does not make the course searchable to those outside of the domain.
