Has anyone else run into this? I created a group in my class for a student needing accommodations. I simplified the exam questions, editing for just that group. But when I was grading another student's exam, they also had simplified questions! I went into the editor to check, and every time I altered the exam under the group editor, the questions were also changed for the other groups.
I have not encountered this issue with other types of assignments, just with assessments. I suppose a work-around would be to copy the exam, make it only visible to that one group, and then alter the questions on that one.
You can only change activity settings for different groups. If you want to alter questions you need to copy the activity. Then assign the new modified activity to your student(s) with accommodations.
