I have a class next semester where students from multiple high schools are enrolled. The classes are created from our SIS and supposedly it syncs each night. The issue is, even though it is the same class, it separates the students into 5 different "sections" so each has it's own master class. Therefore, I cannot use the editor to make changes to the course and have it apply those changes to all students because they are separated. Is there any workaround for this? When I asked if students could be manually added to 1 "master class" section, I was told that because buzz syncs nightly with our SIS (which the students are all stored in by their home schools) it would just overwrite any data.
There has to be a way to be able to apply the same changes to all of these students? Any ideas??
It sounds like there is an issue with the way their sync is constructed to create courses in Buzz and the hierarchy of those courses to inherit changes.
If they are using One Roster, they may need to change the import data or change their domain SIS sync settings page through the admin app preventing a base course from being created under specific scenarios.
If additional assistance is needed, please reach out to your organization's authorized support contact so they may submit a ticket to Agilix Support.
