I put in grades for an assignment and went back in to change the point total of the assignment. I changed the weight, the name of the assignment, the point total, the percentage, the passing score... no matter what I try, the original point total of 8 remains and I need it to be 12. All of the scores of 9, 10, 11, 12 are showing up at 9/8 or 12/8 and giving extra credit.
Because the students took the exam on a previous version of the activity settings, they will need to be issued a retry to experience the changes made to the activity. Once they submit again, the changes should be reflected in the grade editor.

Once the server grades it the score won't change unless you manually type in a new score or the student retakes the assessment.
