When I create an assignment from Google Docs and "Launch in Google's edit mode" will each of my students get a copy of the assignment? I want to avoid having my students from having to create a copy of each assignment (adding 'copy' to the link to the google doc assignment) because of the multi-step process to correctly submit an assignment. 1. Create a copy of the Google doc assignment 2. Place it in a folder that is shared with their teacher. 3 go back to the assignment in Buzz 4. Attach the file to the assignment 5. Submit
These steps are cumbersome for 12-14-year-olds. So, please let me know if I create an assignment from Google Docs and "Launch in Google's edit mode" will each of my students get a copy of the assignment?
THANK YOU!
I'm pretty sure that launching in edit mode will let students edit your original document. I haven't yet figured out how to give them each a copy they can type in. Sorry. :(
On another thread a person from Agilix shared using the Google Edit Mode, then the student can do File, save a copy. It does take the student out of Buzz. The issue I am running into is, if we use Google Edit Mode then where does the child submit the item. I do not see a submit button. https://support.agilix.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360054828592-Adding-Google-Docs-
You will need to use the edit function and have the students make a copy.
It is possible that you could download your Google Doc add it as an attachment to the activity as a course resource in Buzz and then the student could download it without additional steps.

Is there anyone from Agilix/Buzz that monitors the Q & A?

I would love to know the answer to this question as well!
