You may see the target due dates for a continuous course in the student's gradebook. These dates are what are called "soft" due dates as they are not enforced and are a guide to keeping the student on pace with their enrollment enddate as opposed to a range course that uses enforced or required "hard" due dates which may be defined on each activity. Additional information may be found here: How do I set up a continuous enrollment schedule course?
Thanks again. One more thing in a Continuous course am I allowed to set the "soft due dates" for each assignment etc ?
Thank you for your assistance
No you can't since that course type is geared towards student's going at their own pace. If you need to define specific due dates, a range course would be the best option.
When I check the soft dates in a continuous course they jump all over the place. It does not seem correct. Like seven days to go from 1.00- to 1.01?
I also noticed in the course settings, it had the course from a from august 2020 to Jun 2012- but for the Days slot it stated 365 . is that how it should b
