How to do I set an assessment feedback field to never show? Currently the options are: * Always * When answer is correct * When answer is incorrect When my test banks imported, the answers for the essay questions landed in the Feedback field. I want to set this to never display. I want to add additional feedback fields that I do want to display that will tell the student which section and example problem to look at for reference with that particular math question.

Hi Melissa!

Feedback is intended to be displayed based on conditions the student does or does not do to trigger it. There is not a way to hide feedback without a condition. Alternatively the author may remove the feedback from the question if it's not desired to be displayed to students.

If deleting feedback is not an option, the author may select "Custom" from the Rule menu picker of the question editor and define that only enrollments with the role of teacher will see feedback. See attached image below.

Brian, this is an interesting solution. I never realized you could put an enrollment type in the condition blank. Is there a help document somewhere that more fully explains the group and condition features of feedback?
