I think that the most important element when looking at a piece of art is the colors used. Colors tend to show the mood or tone that the artist wants to get across to us. By identifying the mood, the message can become a bit clearer as the audience can see the persona that the artist has. Certain colors or mixtures may even depict when that piece was created. This is why I think color is very important.
