Adding the Enrollment Owner permission does not allow a user to edit enrollment details. Domain Owner is the flag being verified on that screen by mistake.

Hey Michael!
The enrollment owner permission is for allowing users the ability to grant observers over enrollments. To edit an enrollment the user will need the course owner permission.
Odd. I had previously tested Course Owner and it didn't work. Thanks for the clarification.
Perhaps some rewording on the help doc https://support.agilix.com/hc/en-us/articles/206434405-Roles-Permissions would be in order as well.
