Using BUZZ with Parental Controls

Follow
Kim Russell

Has anyone run into users trying to work in Buzz on computers where parental controls are activated? We've had a couple of instances where that has come up, one on Mac and one on Windows. I can only speak for the Mac where I've allowed the use of Flash, but that doesn't seem to make the content appear. If anyone with this experience can provide some information, it would be much appreciated.

Hello Kim!

It's possible that parental controls can be modified to block some parts of content that will be rendered within a web page. If you have not done so, you may test this by turning the filter off to see if the content displays on the web page. We currently don't have a list of supported parental controls. So, your best method will be to modify the parental controls to display the desired content or try different parent control programs for one that will work as desired.
