How can I change the end date of the course, so that I can work faster to finish the course before the suggested end date of class.
For example, if I'm taking a class that is set to go from June to December, how can I change the settings to have suggested assignments and due dates to finish the course by August?

When you change the pacing date it won't change the actual end date of your enrollment, but it will update the pacing dates for your activities so that they show earlier on your calendar. The best place to see this change is by clicking on the calendar for your course and you'll note that the activities have moved to earlier days. The hard end date of your enrollment is controlled by your instructor/school, so for the hard enrollment end date to change it would require them to modify it.
To change when the activities display for example within your calendar, one may go to the grades page of the course, then select the settings tab from the toolbar. If additional assistance is needed, please reach out to your instructor/school.
