Objective Mastery

I have nearly 200 students enrolled in a course, but only 3 show up under the Mastery tab when I am looking at my Gradebook (New UI).  I can not determine what the difference is between those three students' scores and the other students' scores.  Any suggestions to get all my students to show up under the Mastery tab?

Hello Julie,

Students should show in the Mastery tab when they have started working in the course. If a student hasn't complete any work in the course yet then they will not display in the Mastery screen.

If a student has completed work and they are not showing in the Mastery screen still please reach out to your authorized support rep to investigate further.

If objectives are added later (to assignments already graded), will the Mastery tab data "catch up"? In other words, will the student performance/grade eventually be reflected on the Mastery tab?

Or does this only work if objectives are set up before grading is done?

Objective mastery is calculate at the time the user's grade changes. If no objectives (or the wrong objectives) were aligned to the activity, then the student will need to be re-graded to trigger objective mastery calculations.
