By default there is not a forced logout due to inactivity in Buzz so long as the student still has the browser window open and has an internet connection. It is possible for the domain admin to turn on the setting for inactive time out, it would be recommended to check with your domain admin to determine if that setting is enabled and what time the have it set for if so.
If a user loses internet connection then their session will time out within 15 minutes.
